Taboo Club presents Things Women Don’t Usually Say Out Loud

A low‑pressure, women‑led space for honest conversation and anonymous questions.

Things Women Don’t Usually Say Out Loud is the first event from Taboo Club: a space for honest conversations about the things we’re often thinking, feeling or experiencing, but rarely feel able to say.

This isn’t a workshop, a lecture or a women’s circle. No one is there to teach you, fix you or tell you how you should feel. It’s simply a room full of women having the kinds of conversations we don’t get to have often enough.

We’ll talk about the things women are often expected to keep quiet about: relationships, sex, motherhood, bodies, resentment, shame, identity, money, ageing, desire, loneliness, not wanting what we’re “supposed” to want… and whatever else comes into the room.

You’re welcome to speak, but you’ll never be put on the spot. There’ll also be an anonymous question box where you can write down a thought, question, confession or experience and have it brought into the conversation without anyone knowing it came from you.

Come as you are. Talk if you want to. Listen if you want to. Nothing needs to be polished, profound or figured out.

What’s said in the room stays in the room.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing is realising:
Oh. It’s not just me.

Taboo Club: conversations so we don’t feel so alone.
Come curious. Leave lighter.
