Beat Friends
Beat Friends is a fun-filled, two-hour creative workshop designed for children and families to connect through music, movement and art. Led by experienced facilitators Yonier and Mareah, each session combines the excitement of drumming, the energy of salsa, the freedom of painting, and playful Spanish language activities in a welcoming environment where everyone can participate.
Beat Friends offers a safe, inclusive space where every child is celebrated. No experience is needed—just come ready to have fun!

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can begin on time.
Cost per session $35 per child (All activities and materials included.)

Meet Yonier & Mareah — the hearts behind Beat Friends.
Together, we’re passionate about creating spaces where children and families can laugh, move, create and grow in confidence.
Yonier
Originally from Cuba, Yonier brings incredible energy, rhythm and joy to every workshop. With years of experience teaching percussion, salsa and Latin culture, he loves helping children discover confidence through music, movement and play. His infectious enthusiasm makes every child feel welcome and inspired to join in.
Mareah
Mareah is an artist, creative mentor, former school counsellor and facilitator who believes creativity has the power to build confidence and connection. Through painting, games and playful expression, she creates spaces where children feel safe to explore their imagination and simply enjoy being themselves.
Together, we’ve created Beat Friends because we believe every child deserves a place to feel seen, celebrated and creatively free.
