RVMES + Capricore + Strangely Arousing

Three heavy hitters from Auckland’s alternative scene collide for one massive night at the fast-becoming legendary Button Factory. The RVMES, Strangely Arousing and Capricore take over with a stacked stage, big lights, and a sound that will get you moving and feeling things you’ve never felt before.

+ Strangely Arousing

A five-piece progressive reggae/dub/rock band, effortlessly blending other genres and styles of music to create their unique sound, laced with brass, synth, dub, and guitar. Strangely straddles the line between the bizarre you know you love and the weird you don’t know you love yet, like old pros.

+ The RVMES

The RVMES (pronounced The Rooms) are an explosive four-piece hailing from Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, known for bold pink branding, electrifying energy, and a tight sound that fuses alternative rock, funk, groove, and reggae.

+ Capricore

Often described as a modern take on Split Enz, Capricore takes influence from classic New Zealand artists, filtering their sound through a fresh, alternative lens. Their style altogether has been praised by critics as genre defying, delivering a rich blend of post-punk, alternative, and pop-rock flavour.
