Yin Yoga Sound Session

A 3 hour Yin Yoga Sound Session. An opportunity to tap out from the hustle and bustle, gifting yourself the opportunity to go within. Live music soundscape included.

Friday 8th November, the next Yin Yoga Sound Session in Tāmaki Makaurau

This months offering will pay homage back to the roots of Yoga. Simon will weave with a grounded group of Indian spiritual seekers, to offer an authentic experience of what yoga is, beyond the modern physical explorations of it.

Yin Yoga is a fusion practice, drawing on both Taoist and Vedic thought. This offering will also weave Indian shastra (scripture), sounding practice, movement and long held postures with plenty of space for introspection and self enquiry.

Working with Varsha, Vinayak, Zayn, Pia, Shruthi and Esme. A gentle and loving soundscape featuring a range of Indian instruments will pave the way to deepen the experience.

These sessions are offered as Koha. In Sanskrit a similar term is Dana. Please offer what feels resonant from the heart and within your means. All proceeds will be passed on as Dana to spiritual teachers of India, when we visit in Jan/Feb 2025.

Please bring a yoga mat, water, comfortable clothes, a blanket and an open heart. Limited mats are available for those who need. Please reach out with any questions!
