Featured Performers

Puppetry

NACH + ROBIN

Nach Gonzalez and Robin Wachsberger are a couple (a couple of weirdos) who enjoy performing with each other for festivals, cabarets, friendship, and love reasons.

Past drag alter-egos Djörk Björgson and Juanita Del Fuego have cluttered the stages of Phoenix Entertainment, Ignition Festival, and various seedy warehouse parties.

Tonight, they bring you a bilingual, quadrupedal, telenovela puppet duet between Ali Gatorea (the crocodile) and Cacahuate Salvaje (the jaguar). "The dueling perras of la jungla."

Poetry

DAN

Dan Goodwin (they/them) is a Scottish-Pākeha performance poet, actor, facilitator and dramaturge.

They are the 2021 New Zealand National and Auckland Regional Slam Champion, and in 2023, they completed their final year of study, becoming an NZSL interpreter. Their work focuses on the fusion of poetry and prose, with a focus on queer identity, mental health, and accessibility. Their second show, Chrome Dome and Schizo, was performed to sell-out crowds in 2022 and is set for a return season in 2025.
Performance

DOLLY + KEIRA

Dolly Velvet-Riot & Keira Astra are an exciting new duo, bringing together their extensive backgrounds in dance and gymnastics to create edgy performances.

Originally from the UK, Keira fuses her athletic strength with a deep connection to rhythm, crafting mesmerising routines. Dolly, formerly known as Dani VR, infuses her performances with theatrical flair and compelling storytelling, drawing the audience into her artistic world.

With a shared passion for bass music, their unique synergy on stage pushes the boundaries of aerial and flow arts, delivering a powerful experience worth watching.

Music

JORDI

From Hamilton, 22 years, light-hearted and making an attempt to be more involved in performance with my passion. My music aims to wrap listeners up in a sweet vibration and remind us of our human depths.

The voice to me is a tool for meditation that allows us to transmute joy, pain and experience into art. I’ll be singing a mix of originals and covers with an acoustic and relaxed feel.

I love animals and giggling and especially dancing as much as I can. I’m a singer with experience in choirs, bands and busking, motivated by how sound connects us and evokes emotion.

Music

MIRIAM

Mimz has been travelling around the country in her campervan for almost two years. She’s recently started writing, making music, and busking, and her singles on Spotify include Skipped Seasons, Dark Side and Borderline.

Music

BEN

Goes by the moniker “Sadboi”.Expect dreamy songs about self hypocrisy and apathy. There will be an original and, of course, a Radiohead cover by a middle-class white man with a guitar.
