Compassionate Communication for Self-Connection

Do you want to deeply understand other people in your life? Start by deeply understanding yourself. In this workshop, we will explore how to cultivate compassion and self-awareness through the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). This workshop will focus on connecting with your inner state and emotions, helping you become more attuned to your feelings, needs, and responses in any situation.

We’ll discuss how to identify the difference between gut instinct and cultural programming, and how to create a sense of internal safety that allows you to respond from your values rather than reactivity.

Throughout the session, we’ll delve into:

  • Practicing self-empathy and widening the gap between stimulus and response

  • Noticing and understanding defensiveness

  • Exploring the power of self-awareness to create more compassionate communication with others

  • Reconnecting with your natural needs without feeling “needy”

  • Identifying the unconscious patterns that block empathy

This workshop is an invitation to cultivate more self-compassion and strengthen your ability to communicate with honesty and vulnerability, allowing you to build deeper connections with those around you.
